At Dry Pond Volleyball Academy, we believe that fundamentals should be learned at a young age. These are skills that can be learned through repetition and are the foundation for a lifetime of club, school or recreational volleyball.
We teach skills learned from years spent on the court and on the sidelines. Your daughter will learn from Dry Pond Volleyball Academy coaches who played as high school, junior, collegiate and adult athletes and have years of experience coaching club teams and camps.
Whether your daughter plans to play in middle school, tryout for a club team or shows interest in the game to have fun, Dry Pond Volleyball Academy will provide fundamental volleyball skills that can be used forever!
Chris began his volleyball career at age 13 playing during lunch break in middle school and has never looked back. He has played high school, AAU and USAV juniors, for the University of Delaware Men's Club Team and in various indoor and outdoor adult leagues in the Empire and Carolina regions. Chris has been fortunate to learn from working with men's and women's coaches over the years. He has coached for high school, club and summer camp programs over his career. "In all my years of playing and coaching, I've learned that players show significant improvement through increased touches and skill repetition. I believe Dry Pond Volleyball Academy can be the bridge between recreational and competitive volleyball to provide young athletes the opportunity for both."
Megan began playing volleyball in Florida where she had an extremely successful high school, AAU and USAV career, earning multiple awards. She received multiple offers to play in college and chose the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In addition to 8 years of coaching experience at the club level, Megan also served as the assistant volleyball coordinator for the Special Olympics – Florida where she helped to coordinate the state volleyball games for the state of Florida while ensuring the staff was properly trained in volleyball rules and regulation.
